Doers and Builders Fair

We are partnering with the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce to feature information about area non-profits and charities from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011. Particularly, we are working with the non-profits and charities to provide you with information about specific ways that you can get involved--from one time opportunities to long-term affiliations. We are working with the Austin Young Chamber to bring a dynamic mix of organizations to the Fair.

The following non-profit organizations, among others, will participate in the fair:

  • Any Baby Can
  • Austin Partners in Education
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas
  • Boys and Girls Club
  • Christian Outreach Foundation
  • Eastside Connection
  • Explore Austin
  • Front Steps, Green Doors
  • Greenlights
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Hill Country Conservancy
  • I Live Here, I Give Here
  • SafePlace
  • TANO
  • The Ronald McDonald House
  • Thoughtful House

Light hors d'oeuvres and wine and beer will be provided. Matt Curtis, Communications Director for Mayor Lee Leffingwell, will make brief remarks.
