Why is Austin well-positioned to become a leader in clean energy? What initiatives are already underway? And how can I play a part?

On May 26, the Future Forum and the LBJ School Austin Alumni Association will host a panel discussing these and other questions on Austin's efforts to become a leader in the emerging clean energy sector. Panelists include John Baker, Chief Strategy Officer for Austin Energy, Brewster McCracken, Mayor Pro Tem of the Austin City Council, Pike Powers, business leader and attorney, and Michael Webber, Associate Director for the Center for International Energy and Environmental Policy and Professor at the University of Texas. Moderating the panel will be Joey Alcorta, Future Forum Board member.
