Come join the LBJ Future Forum and the Austin Music Foundation for a conversation with Marybeth Peters, the United States Register of Copyrights. We will discuss copyright and entertainment.

Marybeth Peters has served as the United States Register of Copyrights since August 7, 1994. A frequent speaker on copyright issues, Ms. Peters is the author of The General Guide to the Copyright Act of 1976. She is considered the preeminent authority on copyright law in the United States.

Guiding the discussion with Ms. Peters is Chris Castle, a Los Angeles-based entertainment lawyer who has significant experience with intellectual property issues. It's sure to be an interesting and insightful discussion of current issues in copyright law in this day of ever-changing digital distribution models.

A reception will follow.
